New Backgammon World Champion Jorge Pan of Argentina is the best backgammon player in the world. Pan, won the 2007 Backgammon World Championship which took place in Monte Carlo last week.
The Brazilian backgammon player Alvaro Savio is the runner up who scored 23 in the final match, while the 2007 Backgammon World Champion, Jorge Pan, had scored 26 points.
In most of the 4 hours of the last match at the 2007 Monte Carlo Backgammon World Championship, it looked like Savio is going to win the title. However, near the end of the match, Savio lost his advantage in favor of Jorge Pan.
