Backgammon Site Upgrades Servers

If you've tried to log on to the backgammon site Play65 last Wednesday and ran into an error message, it is because the entire server infrastructure of the website went through an upgrade. 

SkillEmpire, the company that operates the online backgammon room Play65 and the online billiards site Play89, has upgraded its serves last week. As a result, both skill games websites will be able to support more than 40,000 players simultaneously, about double the number of players that could be supported prior to the upgrade.

Play65 is one of the largest backgammon rooms online with more than 3M players. Founded in 2004 by the skill gaming company SkillEmpire, the backgammon site features free download 3D backgammon software, multi-player online backgammon games and daily backgammon tournaments plus a bi-monthly $50,000 tournament.
