14th Annual Online Backgammon Tournament

FIBS 2007 Fall Backgammon Tournament will take place at October 1st at the oldest backgammon server on the internet. Only FIBS registered members who have a minimum of 50 experience points can register. FIBS players who meet with this requirement must pay $40 as entry fee (90% return guaranteed) to enter the backgammon tournament.

The online backgammon tournament format will be divided into two parts: the Main and the Consolation ladders, with the latter consists of the non-prize-winning losers in the the Main ladder. The winners of the Main ladder will receive 70% of the grand prize (40% of them will go to the champion) while the Consolation ladder winners will share 40% of the grand prize (half of it will be rewarded to the no. player). 

FIBS, First Internet Backgammon Server, was founded in 1992. It was the first internet backgammon software to offer real-time multi-player backgammon games.
